Gov. Little Announces Statewide State at Home Order, Activates National Guard

On Tuesday afternoon, Gov. Little posted a teaser about an announcement from Gowen Field to take place on Wednesday.

Speculation ran wild about what Gov. Little intended to announce.

Gown Field is where the state emergency broadcast system is and where the Idaho Army National Guard is headquartered.

Idahoans waited anxiously to see what he intended to announce. Then the announcement came.

Gov. Little has announced a statewide “stay-at-home” order for Idaho for 21 days.

Sadly, Gov. Little decided he is going to force the closure of “non-essential” businesses.

He also intends to use the Idaho Army National Guard in some fashion although details were not made clear.

Little was also asked if the threat of force would be used to enforce compliance. His answer was vague and he told the press it wasn’t his “goal” to arrest people.

Additionally, Little was asked about concerns of small businesses and those living paycheck to paycheck.

Little had no comforting answer to the concern.

He even admitted that there are likely businesses that will close permanently because of the order.

Now, the poor in the state and those businesses who are already struggling have no idea what their future holds.

Do gun stores count as “essential” businesses?

We know this will be a major question gun owners have with this new order. However, this issue was not discussed at the press conference.

With President Trump discussing ways to re-open the economy, Gov. Little has decided that it was time to shut Idaho’s economy down.

Little also denied that his order had anything to do with national media influence.

Recently, radical leftist Rachel Maddow attacked Gov. Little for his response to the Chinese Coronavirus. However, Little denied that he was influenced by anything other than the experts he talks to on the issue.

It remains to be seen how Idahoans will react to being forced to stay at home by their government.

Ridiculous!!!! I really thought Idaho was staying OUT of the insanity but apparently not! Really people!! What a subversive way to prove that our so called “educated” “leaders”” are still just po’boys to be pushed around by the bullies on the left. ALL OF YOU KNOW BETTER THAN THIS-I AM ASHAMED OF YOUR COMPLIANCE IN THIS THINLY VEILED TAKEOVER!! WE WILL REMEMBER.

If we continue to allow things like this to happen than we no longer have a Constitutional Republic! Now an unelected health agency is allowed to shut down our state economy for a virus which now has a cure!! Very conveniently carried out when the President is ready to open things up next week. Looks like our state is now carrying water for Pelosi et al to completely destroy the nations economy and institute a socialist government. And you have the sheeple people who get down on the knees and praise this action like it’s the Second Coming! Look for the complete pillaging of our stores, much worse than when this first started. Start open carrying people.

DIFFICULT PROBLEMS LIKE THE VIRUS, REQUIRE HARSH REMEDIES. I BELIEVE IN TRUMP AND HIS APPROACH;, GOVERNOR LITTLE HAS NOT SIGNED THE DEATH WARRANT TO IDAHOANS, HOWEVER, SOMETIMES THE BEST BEHAVIOR FOR A SITUATION OF EASY TRANSMISSION OF POSSIBLY DEADLY INFLUENCE, MUST BE SERVED WITH FINALITY, BECAUSE MOST AMERICANS ARE FLOATING IN THE CLOUD AS TO WHAT THEIR RIGHTS AND BENEFITS ARE ACCORDING TO THE CONSTITUTION. DO NOT ACCORD THIS ORDER AS A DEPRIVING ACT OF TOTALITARIAN CONTROL, BUT ACCEPT IT AS AN ABSOLUTELY NEEDED ACTION TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF THE DREAD. MOST PEOPLE DO NOT NAVE THE CAPACITY TO REALIZE THE PROPER ACTION TO TAKE, BUT IF YOU PREVENT THE SPREAD, THEN MAYBE YOU PROMOTE THE DEATH OF THE THREAT! ONE AND ONE IS FOUR, TWO AND TWO IS FOUR, “EVERYTHING ELSE IS BULLSHIT”!

Only thing missing here will be, “Papers, please.”
Guess we can see who is willing to destroy the economy of a state to keep people ‘safe.’
Perhaps cars will be the next thing banned. No fatal car crashes and people will be kept safe.
Are abortion clinics considered essential? Hypocracy at its finest.
And just like that, you are told who you will see, when you will work, and where you will travel.
I think I sense a restlessness among the cattle. Could be a stampede on the horizon. I hope so.
    This is ridiculous.
Don’t want to be sick? Quarantine yourself. Quite simple.

I appreciate the concerns of many and the Governors stand on this issue pressing our nation. I am a construction worker and we have projects that are not going to shut down no matter what is said. We have taken precautions to ensure our small crew stays safe everyday. Besides the fact we work outdoors and are around nobody but ourselves, we pack our own lunch and none of us go anywhere but work and home except for groceries. I am not one of the people who will be included in any of your payout plans so in order for me to make ends meet, i am going to work until all work stops. Hopefully the National Guard doesn’t show up and tell me to go home.

I thinks some are to Blaise about this virus not believing the danger they put others and themselves is irresponsible.
I believe the president when he says he’ll help small business’s stay on their feet when this is over.

What about agriculture, is that “essential” are the police and National Guard going to harass our farmers and ranchers and their employees as they move from field to field? They need parts stores open, equipment sellers, feed stores, fertilizer/chemical companies, are these essential. I’m sure I havn’t touched the tip of the services they need. Plus all the support personnel required for these places to assist in the raising of food. I understand the need to slow the spread and that there are people who could be self isolating that are not. But does that really make it ok to say some struggling businesses may have to fail? Or that crops won’t be planted in time to be harvested? Just seems like “the cure” could cause a greater crisis to come along.

It is unbelievable that people still think this is overreaction. Once respirators sturt running out and doctors are making decisions who lives and who is to die then you can complain how people that are not allected are making decisions for you and your loved ones. At any rate keep hord TP and wait to see.

South Korea is still open for business and making great strides against the Coronavirus. No lockdowns. So why is America emulating North Korea? Unless it’s about destroying the economy? And not the virus at all?

I for one will not comply with this order just to see our state go down the drain. My family will survive and have our own food wake up people and use your heads if we all comply then we are nothing but sheep. We need to get back to what our forefathers originally planned for us.

Next step is MARTIAL LAW. You have way overstepped your bounds, Gov. Little. This will NOT stand.

So, what are the teeth? Will people be arrested for traveling in Idaho? Gathering? Staying open?
